Embarking on his culinary voyage at the prestigious California Culinary Academy, Chef Joey honed his skills amidst the culinary luminaries of The Carnelian Room and the Michelin-starred The Fifth Floor. Returning to his roots in the Big Apple post-graduation, Chef Joey found himself in the esteemed kitchen of Iron Master Chef Susur Lee's Shang, where he delved into the art of culinary theatrics and fusion cuisine under the tutelage of Chef Doron Wong. His journey continued with leadership roles at distinguished establishments such as Eventi Hotel, Gansevoort Hotel, and Tryp Hotel.

Venturing to the sun-drenched shores of Los Angeles presented Chef Joey with a smorgasbord of opportunities, including stints at Asa Mesa, Mama Shelter, CookUnity, Luque's Catering, and Love Catering. His passion for innovation culminated in the creation of his own culinary brand, Urbane Chow, just before the onset of the pandemic. In his latest endeavor, Chef Joey took the helm of food and beverage operations at Second Home, a sprawling two-acre workspace, where he orchestrated unforgettable culinary experiences with flair and finesse
